Split at the Top

CRASH landing on a BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN at the Oscars this year has conformed again the lack of epic nominee to award both the top prize to a single movie. Done with the debate on how Crash did the biggest upset at the Oscars, this is the seventh time in recent times, where the Academy had awarded the Best film & Best Director for two different movies, none of them epics.
